The Spectrum Center for Natural Medicine, L.L.C. consists of independent practitioners who specialize in acupuncture, acupressure, Alexander Technique, Chinese herbs, counseling/coaching, craniosacral therapy, energy healing, hypnosis, massage therapy, reiki, and other therapies.

PHILOSOPHY AND PRACTICE
We believe that there are two unique underlying tenets of complementary holistic medicine: that better health is possible with non-invasive, non-chemical therapies; and that all dimensions - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual - must be addressed in order for an individual to heal fully.

ABOUT ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT
For the first 4 to 6 visits I request that you come on a weekly basis so that we can establish momentum and accurately assess how you are affected by acupuncture. After these first few appointments we will evaluate how treatment is serving you and determine the frequency of your future visits. Eventually, most people in good health receive acupuncture a few times a year to maintain wellness and ease the transition of the seasons.

THE INITIAL APPOINTMENT
Your first appointment will be an opportunity for you to speak at length about your health concerns and your objectives for treatment. This treatment will last from 1½ to 2 hours and will include an exploration of your health history and a brief physical exam in addition to the acupuncture treatment.

FOLLOW UP VISITS
All subsequent appointments involve an individually tailored acupuncture treatment. Typical visits last from 1 to 1½ hours.
